Duals on BX2200

I would like to put dual wheels on the rear of my BX2200. Does anyone know if they are available or should I start welding?

Want to pull a two bottom 12" plow and 6 1/2 foot disc. Also I think it would help with the box scraper when I'm using the rippers.

Be careful! You could end up overloading the axle bearings. I'm sure the bigger tractors are designed with duals in mind, and have heavier bearings to take the loads.

I love my BX and am totally impressed by what it will do......and I have operated tractors and machinery for years and know how to squeeze every bit of power and traction from them.............so I can not emagine why you want to put duals on a BX. Are your rear tires loaded? Have you added wheel weights? Is your FEL on or front weights added when you plow? There are many ways to get more traction than the BX can provide HP for without adding duals. Besides the BX look just look plain silly with duals. No matter how much traction you get you can not pull a 2 bottom plow or a 6 foot disk. You would be much better off with a 4' disk, see attachment, and a one bottom plow. You would be able to travel at a speed that would allow you to cover more ground faster than if you had the larger implements and were lugging and spinning the tires. Always remember, it is much better to have more tractor than implement not vise vera.

I'd say a two bottom 12 inch plow an a 6 1/2 foot disk is far beyond
a BX's capability... It doesn't have the HP nor the weight...

Plus the HST transmissions is not the best for heavy pulls over
long periods as they have a tendency to get hot. If your going to
use a HST tractor for plowing you should watch the oil closely for
changes in color an smell...
