Can anyone tell me if the joystick retrofit # RE222004 is better than the original? The original joystick housing part #RE55055 is plastic and is broken.
If you order Basic control unit # RE187108 it reverts to the retrofit kit RE222004. All I need is the housing Part # RE55055 But I don't want to spend 150 if it is going to break again. The retrofit kit is $400
The owner told me to get the one I thought would work the best, but I am a Ford Tractor mechanic and haven't worked on too many Deeres. This joystick is on a 5510. The last
one I worked on was a 5310 I think. The same part was broke on it.
