Here in the 'cradle of liberty' state, NO ONE owns their property!
A little thing called property taxes is, in actuality, RENT, and if you don't pay it -- guess what?
However, if you do pay if, but the local 'authorities' want to put a higher-tax-generating strip mall where your domicile presently sits?
Well the Supreme Court proved that you do not own your property.
Sigh.

Of course you are right ..I have preached about the fact that we really just rent our property from the Govt. for a long time...The rent is the property tax and if you don't pay it you will be evicted and lose what you thought you owned...You are exactly right.
