Wolbert, did you get the grill guard from your dealer as a Kioti part?

Re: Drove a DK 40, I\'m hooked!

Vince's price seems about right. Bought the "Guard" from my local dealer. It's not much by itself, but it's all they new about. Picked up the additional info off River Macinery website and they had Kioti drop ship me one. I believe it was an "Alan" that I talked with at Rivera's. They also delivered the Skid Steer compatible Quick attach for the FEL.

Re: Drove a DK 40, I\'m hooked!

Hoosier,

Gee, that sounds like one set-up. If I got that tractor and all those attachments I'd want some serious time off to play!

About the only thing on that list that I'd do without right now is the tiller. You could use the scraper for a lot of the same things.

Re: Drove a DK 40, I\'m hooked!

northcreek2624,

Excellent point. It is better to seek forgiveness once for a driveway full of shiny, complicated and heavy implements on pallets than it is every month for most of us!

Excellent point.

Re: Drove a DK 40, I\'m hooked!

Personally I would not get the boxblade AND the angleblade, they do the same thing and can preform 90% of the same functions.
The boxblade has the rippers that the graderblade does not have and will move more material but will not "swivel" like a angle blade will or quite put a smooth finish the angle is capable of.
JMHO but I would just spend the extra bucks on a higher quality boxblade unless you really want or need both.
I would stay with a 6 foot but the DK 40 should handle the 7 foot implements without a lot of hassle.
The 6 foot blades and mowers should cover the outside edge of your tires so if the tractor clears an obstical the implement should also.
Listen to what the dealer suggest but make your own decision.
Hope this helps,
K

Re: Drove a DK 40, I\'m hooked!

MisterKioti,

Good point about the angleblade.

With respect to the scaper, I'd go with one larger than my wheelbase. Recently, I've been putting in 1.5 ft deep drainage ditches using by boxblade. Having one wider (65") than my wheelbase (~61") sure helped!
