Rotary Cutter driveline shield & bearings

I have a John Deere 4105.
And a Land Pride RCR 1860 5' rotary cutter attached.
Two easy questions for which I am stumped...the owners manual is useless as regards...
(1) is the grease fitting for the driveline shield bearings the plastic nipple at the end of the shield in front up by tractor & back near cutter? I couldnt get the grease fitting to snug over it
(2) how to remove the driveline shield?

I'm a new owner, very savvy with this stuff but a bit lost here.

The plastic nipple serves as a reminder that there is a zerk in there to grease, rotate the plastic shield to line up the hole in the shield to the grease zerk on the shaft, both front and back ... to remove there are some clips where the larger part meets the smallet part, push them in.

Read page #25 of your manual. easyest if drive line is unhooked from tractor, Take the tractor end and swivel it around to find zerk and with end to one side it is easy to grease it in this position. Same with the other end, but would be easyer if driveline was unhooked from gearbox. hope this helps
