My Tuthill 115 volt diesel pump finally died so I took a heavy duty drill pump I used on oil and other liquids and hard piped it where the Tuthill was. It only requires me attaching the drill when I need to fill the tractor. The pump costs around $250 but it pulls a great suction and goes to almost 60 psi which is more than I need.

Be apprised that galvanized pipes and diesel don't get along well. Diesel fuel will strip off the galvanic coating and that can destroy fuel injectors.

I was not aware of that. I'll weld up a new cap and use black iron pipe and fittings. Thanks. Jim
