Dredging up old post's

Good answer! That should work.
On one board I used to frequent a few years back reviving old threads was considered sport by some. A source of great amusement while victims of the ruse would rush to solve 5 year old problems. I was amused at first because anything can be funny once, but if you try to make every day April fools day, it's just annoying.
I still don't see why you should start a new thread to post something instead of just positing it on the thread that all ready exist .
I also can't see a parallel between old threads and April fools day.

There is an ignore list?
Click on My Home at the top of the screen, down the left side will be a link labeled Edit Ignore List.

Old threads have been revived so many times recently that I now back up one post from the first unread to see if it is an old thread or not. Some of the revivals are very earnest answers, but probably moot with regards to the old question five or six years later.
