Buying Advice Dreaming of a new tractor

Hi

Thinking of buying a new tractor.

Here is a list of what I'm looking for:
Hydrostatic transmission
Sloping bonnet so I have better overview of the FEL atatcments
60 to 70hp
cab
the possibility for front-mounted three point hitch and the PTO
cabin
at least three double-acting hyraulik connections on rear
four-wheel drive

Anyone have suggestions for tractors I can look at?

At least here in the states;I think 60HP is about the cut off for HST.The rear hydraulics should be able to be added and 4WD is no problem.Front three point and Pto seems to more of a Euro thing,although starting to see a few in the states.

ask you NH dealer for a 4.65, and see if he knows what you talking about

Here in the states I can't think of seeing a tractor with a 3 point up front along with PTO except in large AG tractors. I have never seen that on a hydrostatic CUT. I never really looked at CUTs in Europe - my interest was in larger ag tractors. Closest thing I have seen in America is mid PTO driving special mount attachments like snow lowers. That is how my Kubota L5740 was equipped, but that all was stripped off to install the load I wanted.

Forget the hst, get a CVT, you will be much happier.

Zuidberg makes front 3pt/ptos for compacts now.

Have a look at Massey Ferguson 5400 series.

I wasn't aware of Zuidberg making the attachment for so many tractors. One thing that always interested me in Europe was front mounted mowers along with rears out to the sides. That way the grass was mowed before the tractor tires trampled it, and with rear mowers to each side they covered a very wide area per pass. The front 3 point is quite limited for my CUT - Cat 0 vs. the Cat 2 rear.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. The problem is that neither NH 4.65 or MF 5400 series looks to be supplied with HST or CVT or at least not in my country.
Once upon a time had Internatonal Harvester one model called Hydro 85 but it starts going too old for to be the main tractor on the farm.
As far as I can see, as mentioned HST stopping at about 58HP but the CVT begins at about 100 HP, but it's possible I've overlooked some models. It is these I hope some of you can help me find.

Get the DYNA 4, they are so easy to use, you will forget the HST.

You are right. The T4.65 is a low end gear transmission I.e. not even power shift. I have a 57 HP hydro and a 135 HP power shift with reverser. Having used both a lot, they each have their place. I have not driven a CVT except in cars, snowmobiles and ATVs. I assume that the CVT is still going to use a shuttle type shift or reversing. My opinion is that can't compete with the ease of a hydro. That doesn't answer your question - you want a hydro, 3 point hitch up front, and front PTO meeting 3 point hitch to PTO distance dimensions. Tricky for Americans but you have access to tractors not marketed in America.

A CVT is light years ahead of a hydro, and the shuttle shift option requires no clutch, can be done while rolling.

Also, the AGCO CVT is the only one with NO clutch packs, a FENDT patent.

You will not find a hydro trans in a tractor that big, because they are unless for ground engaging work. A CVT shines in those areas .
Powershuttles are just as easy to use as a hydro.
