Simple question. To adjust position of drawbar, I can screw out what looks like a bolt through the drawbar (underneath tractor) but then there's another pin through the bar I can't figure out how to remove. This is on a 6210. Thanks.

My neighbor has a similar JD and what looks to be an upside down hitch pin with a hairpin holding it from the top. It holds a swinging drawbar in place and when you remove it the drawbar can swing.

I have 5520 and my drawbar has this same upside down hitch pin arrangement and the drawbar has a couple of different holes in it so I can remove pin, change holes and have a longer or shorter drawbar length. Takes 10 seconds to adjust drawbar.

It appears one needs to remove plug(parts key #16) that holds a pin(parts key #15) holding drawbar. Hex size of plug(parts key #16) is 1.126 IN according to JD spec's

After you remove The "bolt" JD calls it "plug" in the operators manual, the pin should pull out. Torque for the plug is 185lb-ft.
