Hello MMM,
Rough grading with the box blade I do without the draft control engaged. This lets me control where and how the cutting is done. Final grade takes two runs, each with the teeth retracted. First pass is with draft control set to fill the box 2/3 full. Material will drop out into the low spots as you go over them without digging, assuming that the rough grade is reasonably level. The second pass is with the draft set to fill the box no more than 1/4 full. You will be amazed as to how flat you can make your grading using this process. Tamp and enjoy. MJK
