Hi all,
I'm about to buy a JD 3025E, and I'm likely going to get it with an extra front hydraulic remote. I have some light soil grading to do, and having a tilt-able blade on front would make my life much easier.
I know the 3025 is pretty short on horses, but for the light surface soil shaping I have in mind I have to imagine it'd be able to handle it.
As far as I can tell I'd need to first get a JD-to-skid steer adapter for the FEL (easy, I'm planning on doing that anyway), then get a 6-way dozer blade (I'd be fine with a small one, 48" or so... the areas I need to grade aren't large and I'm in no hurry). Even if I couldn't use all the six ways of the dozer blade with my hydraulics I'd be happy with just the tilt.
Thoughts? Am I crazy? Have folks done this before?
