Dose any one load thier tractor in a rack body?

I'm doing more tree work and I don't have a second driver. I was thinking of loading my bobcat ct 120 in my rack body dump truck with loading ramps along with my stump grinder

We used to haul our ford jubilee in a ton truck to haul to a different part of the farm, about 4 mi away. With ramps be careful, that is a long way to fall, but it could be done. We had a loading dock built at both places so it was easier.

Please explain rack body . You are going to load a stump grinder and skidsteer with ramps ? Ithink you need another plan .

A ct120 is the smallest compact tractor I know. It is about 3,000 lbs.
the idea is to take the tractor, the stump grinder and the chipper to the site in one trip. Get to the job unload, Cut down the tree down chip it and load the rounds. Go dump come back load the equipment, connect the chipper and go home.

Rack body dump truck. I use a f350 with a dump body.

Whats the weight of the bobcat? Whats the empty weight of the truck? The GVWR of the truck? As long as those all line up weight wise you should be good. I would make sure you have some good ramps. Back when I drove trucks 48 state I hauled alot of the conversion vans on a 48' flat bed. I bought a set of Aluminum ramps to load, worth thier weight in gold. I would add a way to secure the Bobcat while in transport also. In Texas you can also add weight to the registation of the truck. I am legal for 5k on my 1 ton with the uprate. Truck never has had a problem and it has 350k on it now. Some states allow uprating some dont as I understand it.

Speaking of loading ramps, I needed to get my 3 wheel Walker mower (about 1000 lbs.) off of my F150 when I bought it a couple weeks ago. I just dug a hole the width of the truck with my Kubota and piled the dirt up as high as the tailgate. I backed into the hole, drove the mower off, and then drove out of the hole. The truck is 2wd and it worked on the first try with no measuring, just eyeballing it. I surprised myself actually.
