Don't mow with your wallet?

My neighbor was doing some finish mowing with his MF35 and Woods Finish Mower, and he heard something hit and he looked back and it was his WALLET.... everything except his retired military ID and his SS card was shredded, including $150, drivers license, credit cards, etc...

That must be a fine mower. Did he have a mulching blade on it? Is this the guy that rests his hat and gloves on the inlet of his chipper?

Last time I was out shredding one of my fields I found someone else's wallet. There wasn't much left of it other than his parole officers card and his green card. The idiot never had any business on my property anyway and definitely wasn't supposed to be out where my mower found it. His PO's card had her number on it so I called her to come get it. I told her I found it in the tall grass right next to my new hay baler which is located right behind my gun shop!

Did the same thing with a checkbook stuffed with a years woth of receipts. I was on the grounsmaster mowing ditch. Said hey I mowed over soemones wallet. Looked at the rats nest and would'nt you know it I knew that someone.

I was (part time) mowing golf course with big gang set and when I got home realized wallet was missing. Made a long search into the evening with no results. Canceled everything ASAP the next business day and within a few minutes after going through all that, a good friend (indeed) shows up with intact and undamaged wallet that he had found during his round of golf.

Maybe its just me but I don't ever keep my wallet on me while I'm on my tractor. Around here this time of year it stays 90-100 degrees with almost always 90% or more humidity. It would be soaked with nasty sweat in no time.... I just keep it in the truck, house, etc.

I never carry my wallet on the farm, it stays in the truck.

I try to remember to leave my wallet behind when working on the ranch... sometimes forget..... another good reason to have a cab
