Apr 12, 2005 - A Hamburg man had a brush with death in the Southtowns today.
Police say a man driving a large lawn tractor caught the edge of a cliff and plunged down the rocky embankment this afternoon.
It all happened at a home on Old Lake Shore Road in the town of Hamburg. Rope rescue teams from several nearby fire companies were called in to rescue the victim who was trapped about halfway down the cliff.
The victim was airlifted to ECMC by Mercyflight. There's no word on the victim's name or condition right now
