Dongfeng DF254 Starter

Good morning
I am new to the forum but would appreciate some help if possible please

I purchased a Dongfeng 254 tractor in need of some attention, it runs well but turns over slowly so is difficult to start. I have tried the battery and connections so now I have removed the starter and would like to replace it.

There seems to be a number of starters that fit this engine and there are no labels or names on the starter.

I have tried a number of suppliers but all say they cannot supply without information
The tractor is a 2006 colour red
With a Yang Dong 3 cylinder x385t engine
There is a plate on the rocker cover with the engine details engine number Y61114762A licence XK06-205-00141

Any help in identifying the starter

Welcome to TBN!! You may not need to identify the starter. I had really good luck just taking my Mitsubishi tractor starter to a local shop that rebuilds starters. He got with his catalog and sold me the correct starter for a very reasonable price. Of course it was not made by Mitsubishi but I didn't tell the tractor.
