Dog Harness that does not suck.

I have a Kong dog harness and it sucks. Actually every harness I have owned has sucked. They always get pulled to one side or another and never stay upright on the dog.

Anyone have a harness that they think is best? Thinking the tactical vest style might work.

Are you looking for a pulling harness or a no pull ? yeah the tactical harness looks pretty slick...

I never had any problem with my harness, although I not sure what brand I have...

I've tried some of the expensive brands like Ruffwear but my current dog has a deep chest and skinny neck and none fit so I started ordering and returning different harnesses from Amazon until I found one that did. I ended up with one with the nonsensical name Rabbitgoo. We hike/walk about 100 miles/month and it's just starting to fray a bit after 3 years so I've ordered another one. I think the key is just trying them from a place with a liberal return policy until you find one that can be adjusted to fit properly.

The key is proper fit and adjustment. Too much slack and the harness will pull away from the center of the chest.
