I looked at a B1750 today. It has 660 hrs on it , hydro, FEL, 60" mid mount deck, and back blade for $ 10,500. I would say that it's in average shape for the amount of hours on it. Is this a reasonable price or not? It's for sale by owner and he said that it was used around his house only not as part of a business. Thanks

Well Tommy just to give you some kind of an idea I just bought a L3010 Bota with folding rops, R4's, FEL, Grill Guard, and a HD Round Bucket. Paid $17,500.00 Delivered tax included. This machine is brand new with less than an hour on it and the dealer is going to give me a break on finish mower. I realize that this is half again as much as what you are looking at but its alot more tractor with ZERO hours and a full warrenty. I would strongly recommend you look into new as opposed to used and see whats out there. Get a few prices and show them to the "owner" and state a price at least a few grand lower. If he rejects it walk away and say sorry we could not do business, wait 48 hours and give him a call and ask if he is willing to reconsider your offer. Whatever you do make sure the bucks are in your wallet, don't jack around after the fact. People like seeing a check that you are willing to take to the bank and get immediate cash for, and its another buying point. Tell him how lucky he would be to sell to you seeing how you are willing to pay cash on the barrelhead if he is willing to lower his price. Either way happy tractoring.

Tommy, I agree with Maker. For around $10,500 you are looking at a NEW BX2200, or B7500. I would definately shop some dealers and see what you can get for the same or similar money. I would also first be sure just what you want to do with the tractor and buy the best package that fits your needs. Good luck!

I recently priced a new B7500DT (grear drive trans.) and LA272 FEL for $10,770. Down the street a used tractor dealer had a slightly used 2001 model B7500 HST with same loader, 50 hrs. on it for $10,500.
