Does Power Trac take trade ins?

I'm thinking of tradeing in the 1430 toward an 1845. Has anyone here ever traded in a PT and if so, how bad do they bleed you?

My understanding, from talking to Scott is that the 3 - 422's that were recently listed on there website were trades. They went over them and replaced the wheel motors and engines on the 2000 and 2002 along with repainting and cylinder checks. I don't know about the 1999. There's 315 hrs right now but it goes up about every day. I just went and looked at the one on pt site. That's a very good price seeing their going for 15,000 new with no attachments. Kind of wonder why the new engine at 100 hrs though.

That used PT looks like a good deal from the pics. If I did not already have one I would probably purchase it. Someone should jump on that one!!!!!!!

I just spoke with the seller of the 1430. He got it from Power Trac after they put in a new engine. It only had 98 hrs when he got it. He reoccolects being told that whoever had it before him may have run it without the airclener element and it evidently sucked in a lot of dust. He related that the machine had originally been sold to someone in Texas. Agreed, sounds like a good deal. I think a 1430 might be a little large for my taste, but its tempting. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I talked to Scott a few days ago via email about a trade in. He mentioned that they do it, but I could get way more by selling it outright. I am looking into a 1460 to replace my 2445 trailer package. I have an ASV RC30 that I am putting a 7 foot quick attach backhoe on so that I can squeeze into these ever shrinking back yards in my area. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
