Being close to the rockshaft, I'm suspecting that plug was used on a switch that would shutoff the PTO once the 3 pt is at max height and then turn it back on once the arms are lowered.

They then have to bypass it with that diode as that feature may not be available for that model of tractor. They most likely share wiring harness between various models.

Just my theory at least.

It's the connection for your seat safety switch. It has been bypassed with a jumper (blue item).

Yes, I bypassed the seat switch the first week I had it. The blue relay fuse looking thing I believe I have correctly found out that it is a diode to control the electrical flow to the gauges.
