I came across this abandoned in a Washington forest. Does anyone know what it is? Nothing I can see indicates agriculture or mining in the area. There’s also an also an abandoned car from 1940s or 1960s. I’m just curious. Thanks in advance.
That is a J.I. CASE small square baler for hay. That vintage of baler was not one of the more popular models of baler at that time. May be desirable as a parts machine as the knotter looks intact but more than likely, a solid piece of scrap iron.
