Does anyone have a 3rd function on a T574 or similar model?

I'm negotiating with a dealer on buying a new T574 cab model. I have asked the sales person multiple times if the factory third function kit is a true third function or just a diverter. She answered me with "What do you mean true third function? I think it has some kind of valve.". I want a true third function. The loader stick has two buttons, but that doesn't mean they will install a true third function setup. I'm not sure this sales person has ever even operated a tractor and it's pretty hard to get any strait answers out of her that aren't in clear ink on the brochure. The other guy that was there was just reading off the brochure when I asked him questions. I swear to god, I was ready to roll that thing up and start swatting him with it. HE was supposedly from the parts department! Unfortunately this is what I have seen at several dealers lately. The tractors are in such high demand that they don't need competent sales staff?

I have the T454 and it is a true third function. I asked my dealer the same question based on the youtube video I saw. not sure when it changed but at least on my model the two buttons open and close my grapple.

I hope this helps. I just bought a 2021 T574 yesterday and he gave me this file. I just have to make up my mind if I want the TYM kit or go with the less expensive diverter kit.

The way to address your concern. Go back and talk to the shop service manager. The sales people and parts people are not expected to be knowledgable in the technical details of any tractor.

Especially the sales people. They are selling "flash" and "pizazz".

The parts folks - well, they are supposed to know their parts.

I hope this helps. I just bought a 2021 T574 yesterday and he gave me this file. I just have to make up my mind if I want the TYM kit or go with the less expensive diverter kit.

Thank You! That helps a lot. It looks like a very nice kit. For what the dealer is charging it better be! It has hard lines and quick disconnects at the valve there. Looks like there is a sleeve that goes into the power beyond port before installing the valve. That is the key to the true third function.
