They move snow very well. Better then most will believe.

I think it would depend on the temps. Wet snow, I can see causing problems. I think they would be very good at moving dry snow.

wow!!! they really can move snow, who would have known. suprized me. this old dog can learn new tricks.

If the broom is run at high rpm and has the long bristles, it will make a difference. But they have a habit of wearing shorter thus decreasing diameter of the broom and the velocity of the tips. Then the snow doesn't move as easily. My experience anyway.
I have the broom on in the winter for certain clearing (usually to get the blacktop real clean and a chance to warm in the sun). But don't use it very often. Just use the blade most of the time.

99% of the time the airport where I keep my planes use a huge broom to clean the runways. Works great and gets them to bare pavement and concrete....

Work good. Dont see them much here for snow as operating costs are high. Those brushes are expensive:thumbsup:
