do you guys bother to wax your tractor ??

Some may call me crazy for doing it, but yes...I waxed my new tractor. Never waxed the old one, but decided to try it on this one. Mainly because the paint on the loader arms seemed a bit "dull"; probably due to being sun faded from sitting on the dealer's lot. The wax really brought the color back up and looked great when I was done. Plus I figure it helps to protect the paint color a bit. Took no time at all compared to waxing truck/car. Coincidentally, I did use Nu-Finish. I say go for it.

What I mostly learned from the stickers is this. Stick men get maimed or killed with great regularity.

To the OP. Yes, most any high quality car wax will do. It's purpose, beyond pride of ownership or vanity is simply this. They wash up easier and that makes it worth doing every two or three years.

I wax every motor vehicle I own at least once a year. I always use Meguiar's Carnauba Wax. I like how easy it is to apply and remove. No heavy elbow grease required. It has respectable lasting abilities as well. Nothing at all wrong with waxing anything with paint on it.

I hear ya. My Son owns a JD4310 that's mostly plastic. He hates that part cause he's a wax guy.
