Growing up the flag was a common sight... Not so much anymore around the SF Bay Area.

One of the first things I did at the new place was install a Flagpole from Harbor Freight (With Made In USA upgraded flag)

I was gonna say, if from HF (China) , did you count the number of stars and stripes?.

I would fly the American flag on our unused flagpole, would love to, as I have come to detest the Canadian Flag and what it has come to stand for, but I'm guessing the neighbors wouldn't like it.

Flag flown and shown is made is USA...

Flagpole is Harbor Freight... had it a long time and was $20 +/- with coupons.

I also have a Land Salzburg Flag available should the occasion arise hosting guests from Austria...

Yes. We put ours out on appropriate days. I'd like to have a lit pole so I could keep it flying 24/7.

I figure it's always good to have the flag of the most likely invaders on hand. lol And some cold beer in the fridge.

Trouble with flags, is that you should really take the flag in at night.

I know it is a common practice with you but very rarely is it seen here, when I was in the UK you often saw the Union Jack upside down and many did not know the difference.

My USA flag flies daily.....up in the morning and in at dusk.... except for rainy days.... and have for as long as I can remember.....so did my Dad. Now and then I say a prayer for those Americans that died and those who have helped keep our flag flying.757.JPG
Cheers,
Mike

I am an American, and flew BOTH flags on my tall flagpole at my place in Nova Scotia.
The Canada one always seemed to fade faster.

A flag flown upside down is the international signal for distress!
