Do I need new intake and exhaust control valves for my 8n hydraulics?

Pulled these out of the hydraulic pump of my 48 8n. They measure .592". The yellow ones according to the manual and the little dab of paint on the back of the valves.

Do they need replacing and if so, where do I find a new set? I have scoured the net and can't find any.

When I removed the the valves, they were still holding oil in the chambers. I'm hoping the pitting only occured at the areas outside the chamber.

I am going to have to use these as I can't find replacements.

Just got all the new parts in the mail today. Will reassemble tomorrow if it doesn't rain.

Do I need gasket glue when putting on the new gaskets?

No glue, dry gaskets only. the glue can actually make them leak, if you use certain types of products.
