Do I have enough fluid flow

I have a Kubota L4060 HST tractor with 9.4 GPM Implement pump flow and a total flow of 14.1; and I want to add a hydraulic lawn mower that requires 8 GPM; is there enough fluid left to operate the tractor?

Yes all that you will be using is your implement flow.
You will likely need to stop the mower before your 3 point will respond.
And your loader may take priority depending on how it is all piped.

You can use all of the implement flow and still operate the tractor. It will just take some engine HP to turn the pump. Not much: 9.4 gpm at 2400 psi (typical relief setting) is 13 hp.

"total flow" is a bogus number. The second circuit runs your power steering and possibly the PTO clutches for tractors with electric over hydraulic independent PTOs. There is no way to use the flows together.

The only thing I can think of is ....some brands DO NOT include the gallons per minute to operate the power steering in there gpm figures available for different things.. For instance... If a tractor brand says the machine has 15 gpm gross available, and requires 10 gpm to run the tractor, doing the math says there are 5 gpm for an attachment... But what they may not say is it also requires 3 gpm for the power steering... You do the math from here.. This is just a for instance set of figures, but you get the idea...

While you have enough flow to run the mower, I would be concerned if the tractor has enough hydraulic cooling capacity to run a continuous flow like that in the heat of summer. I would want a PTO driven mower.
