My bucket was dumping fine then I picked up another load of dirt and it want dump. It tries but the hydraulics will only extend about an inch pulled bucket off still same.

Seems like he took the bucket off, and the cyl still will not extend.
If a cyl will not move using a good pump and the valve is activated, then the flow is blocked or the cyl is really broke. If he has QD's, that is the most likely cause.
The piston rod nut could have come off, and fluid is just flowing back and forth with no force.
