Kioti DK55 Cab, 3 NHs (from 40-90HP)
i just responded to a thread about the longevity of my tractor - next thing i know the FM reception on the radio is dead. AM works, as does the tape deck..

FM reception does not provide any sound at all - no static, no sound. any ideas?

anyone ever consider installing another radio? i suspect that the radio is no longer covered under a warranty, which is probably just as well because i'd like to upgrade to a radio capable of accepting I-Pod inputs..

it's hot today - tedding with an air conditioner and a radio is a completely different experience this season.

No clue about your radio and why the FM seems to have died, but you might want to consider a "Marine" radio for your tractor. Even if it will be installed in a cab. Marine grade radios are built to withstand more exposure. Almost all the major brands makes some of their radios in a 'marine' verison.

thanks for the info - i realize a standard radio may not handle the excessive vibration.
