Kioti DK55 Cab + Kubota 2320 +Kubota ZD28
As promised......Some pictures of the new tractor doing what it is supposed to do. I have 10 hours on the clock. Bush Hogging, pulling 12 to 18 inch stumps, and clearing debris left from Hurricane Isabel. The pine stumps I am pulling are in the soft Mathews soil. Roots are near the surface. Larger trees I cut close to the ground and leave the stump to rot.

So far the DK55 is working beyond my expectations. Click on the markup to see the pictures.

Thanks for the pics Dave. Of course, this is just the beginning of your requirement! That 4 in one bucket looks the deal!

I just uploaded some new pics of a new CK25HST on Webshots, but they still haven't shown up. Usually they're available within about 30 minutes, but it's taking longer tonight. I may have to post to TBN tomorrow if it takes much longer! Thanks again, John

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. The AGCO GT45 and the KIOTI DK55 both have 45 PTO h.p. I can not tell any difference in the ability of each to do a particular job that requires power. The KIOTI can turn a lot faster. I can bush hog a field in less time than with the AGCO. I can also get into places the AGCO could not because the KIOTI has a smaller footprint. Translated, that means I can get into trouble faster!

It's not that I did not like the AGCO GT45 (made in Italy). It was a fine tractor. Very capable and strong. I would still have it if the dealer was worth a plug nickel(my opinion). It was the dealer that forced me to trade in a brand new tractor for an Asian one. Really awful customer relations led me to loosing many thousands of dollars on a trade. I paid $38,000.00 for the AGCO and got $23,000.00 for a trade in. It had 41 hours on the clock in the 90 days I owned it. I was willing to loose money rather than try to work with an AGCO dealer that did not want to fix my AGCO tractor. Read what I had to say in the Grinding Lift Arms thread in Attachments. I chose the KIOTI because seven of them have been sold into my small county in the last few months. My friends think very highly of the KIOTI and the dealer.

Sorry for the rant. I am still upset about loosing so much hard earned money.

I did discover that the KIOTI can turn circles around the AGCO that I had, and the tilt and telescopic lift arms are a nice addition to the KIOTI that the AGCO did not have.

Sorry to hear about your money loss /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

But I still can't understand why you sold new tractor (heavier built) for new tractor anyway? I'm not trying to say that Agco is better, just don't understand. For that money what you're lost, you can repair Agco forever, what I doubt that you will spend it.

We haven't any CUT's here, no Kubota, just TAFE ag tractors from India. But, they aren't apreciated, and considered as serious tractors. So, that's reason why I'm wondering about non American and non European tractors.

Let me explain; I bought new Same in Italy (significally less speced than yours, except power), and import it by myself. In the moment when I bought it, there weren't ANY Same dealer in Croatia, no spare parts, no support. There is Same dealer now, but I don't know who he is...
I counted on that if I buy good brand tractor I will not need any dealer to wrench on my tractor. And that was true. All maintenance and eventually repair we will do at home. Ony fault was broken foot throttle cable, and I made new myself at home. If I can buy it in neighbourhood, I will anyway make it at home. I'm buying FIAMM filters (recommended by Same-and found them on new tractor), as well as originals, if they are cheaper. We haven't any complain about tractor, even it has about 650 hrs in 2 years (just it burns expensive (3.7$/gal) fuel /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif).
BTW, tractors here came with ONE YEAR warranty, and nobody complain about that! Nobody use other tires than ag ones. Ok, maybe different part of world behavior /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif.

The AGCO is about 500 pounds heavier than the KIOTI. The KIOTI has a little smaller footprint. I'm not sure if AGCO is heavier built.

For that money what you're lost, you can repair Agco forever, what I doubt that you will spend it.

I am not a mechanic....I do not have the ability or desire to fabricate broken parts. I need dealer support. Being able to use the tractor is more important to me than the money. I can make more money but I can't use a tractor and implements that don't fit one another.

We haven't any CUT's here, no Kubota, just TAFE ag tractors from India. But, they aren't apreciated, and considered as serious tractors. So, that's reason why I'm wondering about non American and non European tractors.

I think the KIOTI DK45 is a full size tractor, not a compact....not sure. Any tractor that can do the job and do it well is taken seriously. It does not matter where it is made.

Best Regards, Dave
