I am seriously considering the purchase of a DK55 and would like comments and opinions (good or bad) from DK55 owners. Also would like to know if warranty work or just general repair was any hassle or difficult to get from your dealer or Kioti. I haven't driven this tractor yet but I did like what I saw when I looked one over. I'm hoping that I wouldn't run into the problems that another poster on this forum did and that was "Agentiron".

Got a customer with a DK55C/ Loader that he purchased from me back in 2004 new. It is used daily. The tractor now has 7200 hrs. on it. All on original power train components. The shuttle clutch is starting to pop into neutral, which he's planning on repairing himself. Other than the ignition switch failing, and a blowned head gasket, due to not having the head bolts torqued from new, he says he would buy another Kioti, maybe a 75hp again. He is very pleased with Kioti.

Just before I changed states I was all set to buy a DK55. I have spent a fair amount of time looking a them and driving them. They are well made tractors and off a lot of things others will make you pay for. Now if they only had the '55 with HST - that would crush everyone else.

It really is a nice machine. I can say that I have been very satisfied with the CK 27HST and that while I have multiple machines I often recommend Kioti.

Thank you gentlemen for your replies and hopefully I'll hear from more owners. I was quoted a price of $31500 from my dealer and that's with a FEL and a 5.5% interest for 60 mo. plan. Does this sound like a good deal?

I just made the last payment on my '06 dk55cab tractor. I have been very pleased with both the service and the tractor. only problem to speak of was some broken glass ( my fault) that was super easy to replace. Did it myself at ranch. I also had to replace the overflow on the radiator due to a broken plastic part. I think around 60 bucks. nothing else has come up. Only negative is the electric pto engagement can be a bit harsh on some of my attachments.

I've owned a DK551C just on a year now,180 hrs only problem was with the 3rd function switch in the joystick, it just quit one day with no warning. It is a dealer fitted item and can't fault kioti as it's not factory fitted. It was replaced under warranty by the dealer without a drama, when I mentioned that a head light had some condensation in it they replaced that too without even a grumble. Having a good dealer is very important. Couldn't be happier with the tractor over all, seems to be very well designed and built. If you get the FEL I do recommend having the wheels on the widest setting and filling the rears of coarse. I did have a bit of a scare before widening them! But that is the same for any loader not just kioti. Buy one and you'll be very happy.
