Hello all from a new member. Thanks for all the useful advice I have found so far! Here is my situation.
I have a DK55 with cab and a KL551 loader. I am looking at the KB2485 and the Woods BH90x. I guess I have come to the conclusion that the 90x is probably the better option with the factory hydraulic thumb a big bonus. After reading on here(from a post around 2012 or so) that the subframe for the 90x will not fit with the KL551 loader. I spoke with a couple dealers to see if woods had come out with a new subframe but that didn't get me real far. I called woods tech support yesterday and was informed that the 90x subframe is made to fit with KL1595 loader and not compatible. However, i was given a kit # for the subframe for a bx9000 that would be compatible with my setup and would pair with the bh90x. Today I decided to call woods tech support with another question on the pairing and the tech I spoke to said there is no subframe combatible with the DK55/KL551 be it 90x, 9000, or otherwise.
So I have a couple questions if anyone has any info or has been in this situation. First, is there a 9000 frame that is compatible? If there is, is it an inferior frame thus the update? Or am I better of with the Kioti KB2485? I have seen pictures and read some threads on here that the KB frame has some weak points.
