I'm no expert,

but as you have said, that extra 5hp is only $25 a month.

If you are going to mow very much, I would want the extra power. If you are going to do any ground work, that extra power is nice to have. If money is tight, then get the smaller machine and get by,

but as you have said, not to many people complaining about having too much power.

You can get an implement later. That 5hp for $1300 will cost you a whole lot more than $1300 if you compromise and go smaller now and then decide that you would like to have that extra power later.
I know that this is not what most guys here are thinking and I'm sure that the smaller HP machine would work fine, but just not quite as good in my opinion. But then again it is only an opinion, just another way of looking at your situation. Oh, one last thing, get both rear remotes on either of the tractors that you end up getting.:thumbsup:
