DK40SE Fluid Capacities

Can someone help me out with capacities for my tractor? I have searched both here and Google and can't believe I can't find the info?
Particularly I want to change the motor oil tomorrow. I was planning on using DELO 400 15-40 but after reading a bunch of threads I think I will use the synthetic Rotella.

I assume the owners manual has all this listed but I haven't picked one up yet

Engine oil - 8L /8.4 qt.
Hydraulic fluid - HST - 42L - 11.1 gl. (shuttle/gear) - 13/7 gl.
front axle - 7.6L / 8 qt.

I used The Rotella T6 5w40 Synthetic, great results in this cold weather.
2 gallon jugs filled mine to the full mark with filter change after letting it drip and drizzle for a long time.
Cut yourself a piece of thin cardboard and make a trough to put under the oil filter, so it doesn't drain all over and make a mess:thumbsup:

Soot will build up in any oil (dino or synth) so you can't extend change intervals by using synthetic. Synthetics should keep the engine a little cleaner inside but the main advantage (of synthetics) is cold weather starting. All Mobile 1 is 100% synthetic but you need to read the label on the Rotella as there are several versions. Personally, I use full synthetic oil; it's not a great extra cost considering the value and useful life of a tractor.

Some large Diesel engines use special filters that can remove soot from the oil to extend change intervals. This is not cost-effective for small auto or tractor engines.
