I am looking at a Brand new DK40 with loader and 8.5' backhoe. i would like to buy from my local dealer but I would like to qualify the pricing. He quoted me $24,700 for the package. Is this a good price? or average? or a gouge?

As Ken Sweet said, it depends somewhat on your location as pricing can be affected greatly by freight, and the cost of doing business in the area, but it sounds like a pretty good price for TLB packaging.
That said, I've seen the DK45 go for from around $24,800 to $26,000 if I remember correctly. The DK45 is a little larger frame. John

Thanks for the feedback. I am in the Charlottesville VA area. I currently have a Kubota L35 but i may have to give it to an old business partner. So i may be in the market for a new tractor.
