DK40 HST w/FEL Pricing?

I am back in the market for a tractor and have finally settled on the Kioti DK40 HST w/FEL. I visited my local dealer today and the OTD price with the Free Loader was quoted as $21,999. (NO tax as I qualify for tax exempt status)

So, is this a good price and if not, what would a good price be for this tractor?

It sounds like a fair deal to me. But being in Canada most US prices sound good.

I see Kioti has the free loader event on and assume that is in the price. Bobcat is also running a free loader event so you may want to get a Bobcat quote for comparison and bargaining.

I did that when I purchased my DK35 one year ago and saved a bit of money because of it.

I just checked the McCormick site and see they also are running a free loader event. So that's another possibility to get a competing price.

Mine wae 21,500. with 3 weld on hooks and bolt on cutting edge. This was last years price.

Hello,

I went thru this last summer. I recommend you call each dealer within a couple hundred miles and get more prices. That's what I did and I was able to use a lower quote to puchase the tractor from the dealer I liked the best.

Thanks guys, I am checking with other dealers today, just hate playing the game as I would like to simply use the dealer that provides the best price without playing one against the other.

Any idea what the profit margin is on this tractor? Would an offer of $19,000 OTD be out if line?

That is a pretty good price. My friend is buying one here in Ohio and he was quoted $21,500 w/ KL401 FEL (DK 40SE HST) that's before tax so I would say that is a pretty good price!

Your profile doesn't indicate where you're from so you might see a variation in the pricing.

Just paid $22500 for a dk50 HST with block heater and loaded tires in Ontario Canada.

I would also get loaded rear tires. Unless you have a heavy attachment on the 3ph, r4 tires are pretty pathetic and you will not get the most out of your loader.
