Oil & Fuel DK35 fuel filter bowl cracking

Just thought I would share this with you all. I was out brush hogging and started smelling fuel and was using alot not normal. I got off and inspected and found fuel spraying out of the fuel filter bowl. Further investigation I found that the fuel bowl had alot of very tiny cracks. Cost $38 to replace. Kioti don't sell the bowl only have to buy the whole thing. I guess I got my use out of the filter my tractor is 6 years old. jb

Kioti sells the bowls seperate. They are between $5 and $8 each. 3054's use the same bowls. After a few years (6 to 8) they shrink a little and the filters won't fit right. Always buy the o ring,filter and bowl if your tractor is around that age. It's cheap insurance, for under $20.

I just went by what my dealer told me and bought the hole thing. Didn't make sense at the time but had to get my tractor back up to finish brush hogging the fields.
