DK2 OPC566E Exhaust

I have the OPC566E. There is a plate / cover over the exhaust to direct the hot gases away from the chipper exit chute.
It was held on by two screws but fell off when I used it last. The picture on the manual doesn't have this silver colored directional cover.
I tried a 1/4 fine thread bolt but it's too small. I don't know if it's imperial or metric. Does anyone know what size screws these are?

Most likely, the engine is made in Japan or China. And it uses metric hardware. So if the 1/4 inch bolt is to small, then it is not a metric #6 as it is slightly smaller than the 1/4 bolt, so that leaves us with the #7 metric bolt. You will have to buy bolts of both thread pitches to find which one is the correct one.
