Looking for a small chipper/shredder for my wife to pull around behind the four wheeler to clean up fruit tree cuttings, grape vines, small branches, tons of maple leaves, etc.
We have a Woodland Mills WC68 for the heavy duty that isn't firewood, but looking for something around $1500+/- to take care of items that are too small for the PTO chipper, yet too big to just toss into the compost pile.
Anyone have any first hand experience with this unit and/or the DK2 brand in general?
It's available locally at Home Depot and Tractor Supply for $1299.
Thanks,
Patrick

It looks good enough to me and with 7 hp. it should do just fine on the little stuff your wife runs through it.

Is it electric start or pull start? If pull start can your wife pull the rope fast enough to start the engine. Some of those chippers take a lot of effort to get the chipper flywheel spinning unless there is some method to disengage the chipper when starting.

No experience with that brand though.

It's pull start. I've read complaints about the next size larger is very hard to pull start because of the flywheel.
Good point. I'll have to look further into that.
