DK 55

Any body, Kioti John in particular, know if the new DK 55 have any improvements. I am looking for increased hydraulic flow and a better remedy to a glow plug pre-warming system. I had trouble with the glow plugs and a pre warmer was installed. Worked great in warm weather but now that it is cold things are funky.

You can see if the DK55 will accept a block heater. The additional hydraulic flow is one of the reasons I choose to go with the New Holland brand. I was surprised that even at the DK55 level, the hydraulics were still at what I felt were minimum flow levels.

Hi,
I have run into a couple of tractors that the strap(connector) between the glow plug was either loose or corroded. If you take your air cleaner box out you can easily get to the top of the plugs and check them. In both cases that I had, cleaning the contact point and snugging the nut made all the difference for starting.
If you are talking about roll back problems with your hydraulics, there is a new upgrade kit available.
