Mine has a mind of it's own also. It is worse when it is cold. I just live with it, I have never been a fan of regen circuits and never use them in any of my designs. CJ

Hey CJ,
Could you read my more recent thread about having broken the FEL valve, and see what you think might be happening?
Note that since I wrote that thread I recalled that one of my QD's under the right side floorpan had come loose at some point in all the confusion; and I had just jammed it back into the female without inspecting the male for any contamination. I also get a stutter from the valve at times recently, so I'm wondering if possibly something has entered the valve body and caused the no backblade condition in the FEL cylinders?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I have not yet disconnected the curl/dump QDs to see what is happening, but plan to today.

Did you plumb the diverter after the QD's or in front of them. If it is front [upstream]of them then the disconnect idea will tell you if it is in the cyls. If it is downstream of the QD's then I would unhook the lines on the downstream side of the diverter, cap or plug them and try to backdrag. That would isolate the diverter. The lines coming out of the control valve [will call them A and B] are closed or blocked center [cylinder spool] and should allow no flow to pass in the center pos. If your bucket moves you have to find out where the fluid is going. 1 past the piston seals. 2 past the diverter valve. 3 past the loader control valve. #3 is unlikely unless it has work port reliefs, I am almost 100% sure it does not and it would not be a intermittant problem. Without seeing a print on the valve I can't be sure if the regen circuit comes in before or after the spool, I would bet before. Any way test for #1 and #2 by blocking/plugging ports. I have run into cyl seals acting up intermittently so don't be surprised if that is what you find. I will test them by installing ballvalves in the cyl ports and cutting them off seperatly. Don't get too crazy or you can twist your loader but that will help you find the problem. CJ
