Kioti DK 35 now
I have a Dk 35 , I was wondering if anyone else with this tractor has used it for moving round bales?

If so did you go with the 3-pt type? or try the FEL type. ?

For obvious reasons I was thinking 3-pt, but after having a larger tractor, (150 horse), I got spoiled using the FEL

Thanks

We just touched on this very topic in this thread: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kioti-buying-pricing/114167-buy-2.html

I moved some more 1200lb. round bales this weekend with a digging bar and a chain since I didn't have spear. I acutally sent Rick Wallace a PM to recommend me a good QT bale spear for my KL401 loader.

Depends on the weight of the round bales and the type of spear attachment.

Thanks for the link, I tried search didn't find anything. The average 4x5, 5x5 bales here sold as 1,000# usually range from 850# to 1200# depending on the person doing the baling.

I have hauled ALOT of hay but never with a tractor this small.
Thanks guy's

If you want to haul 6x5 round bales that weigh over a ton try a tumblebug.

I have a woods fel (1012) on mine and used it all winter to move 6 foot round bales. left the backhoe or 5" brush hog on the back. Needed 4 wheel drive but worked fine.

Rick, are you using regular pallet forks?

Yes -they are WR Long quick attach forks. Seem To work great. These are 4 by 5 bales in the 1000 lb range (light), and I did not even have the weight box on the rear.
