DIY replacing worn out gauge wheel assemblies Kubota F series

My new 15" Gauge wheels arrived and here is side & front view comparison.

These are aftermarket wheels and have conical roller bearings similar to Kubota ones.

There are some rock bottom price 13" aftermarket wheels which have ball bearings but I decided to stay away from those.

Like said previously, this will be a winter time project for me.

@arto98607 is your 15” tires on 6” rims ?
They appear to have more sidewall than my 8” rims with 15” height

Yes they are 15x6.00-6 rated for 570 lbs each.

I’m still waiting on my machine shop buddy……
To cut, raise & lengthen my deck frames plus build longer spindle bearing wheel yokes.
Maybe next week

Mocked up to make sure Big 15” Tire would clear the Deck Before welding gusset plates on 1.5x2.5 tubing frames.
They are extended 4” longer & raised 7” taller.

These custom spindles are Super Beefy & turn butter smooth thanks to the 4 bolt implement bearing spindles .

I’ve got to paint everything with Chevy Orange Engine paint & install spindle seals & dust caps.

Notice the cross brace over the tire to wipe mud and / or wet grass off just like the stock caster yokes on my ZD1511
