Hi,
I'm not a pro installer , but having done quite a few floors in the last couple of years , you should be able to install it yourself and you will enjoy your floor for a long time, I love wood floors, they give a warm feeling to a room.
It is a good idea to bring your floor in the room that you will install it ,for about two weeks before installing it, if possible, I think most manufacturer recommend that.
Also ,you might find it easier to preedrill your boards with a smaller bit than your nails, where you cant use the nailers , the ones near walls, as it is hard wood and it could be hard to nail them without splitting the groove.
Good luck and keep us posted.
