Divorce, need value help!

My neighbor is a retired, or as he likes to say “recovering“ lawyer

A close friend was a lawyer, corp type. She was sharp as a knife but a basket case in most other regards. Dead now due to OD on prescribed pain killers.

I would constantly give her chit about being a lawyer. She would remind me that at the high school reunion, when people hear that you/she/they are lawyers, they are duly impressed.

To that i would tell her how lawyers impressed me....not quite the same
