Anyone know if I can disconnect the the two hydraulic lines going to the Kelley BH and connect them to a W R Long electric over hydraulic valve to operate a grapple ?? The lines are now connected to the A port on the tractor selector valve and the FEL valve.

Thanks

Bob

That will work fine-just make sure the valve is rated for the same GPM as you tractor is. The is lots of info like this in the hydraulics forum if you search:D

Your tractor should be at 10 GPM or less, I think it was 7.5 or so prior to 2004 or so.
Good luck. I've got the lk3054XS, I think the XS was when the 10GPM started?

Kennyd, thanks. I your reply to ditzel, I think you mention that the lines should be connected to each other when not connected to BH. If I'm not connected to my BH or the Long valve, should I connect the two to prevent pressure also ?

Yes, They MUST be connected together! These lines have the full flow of the hydraulic pump ALL THE TIME. The fluid must go somewhere!
