Assuming your plots/gardens average under an acre in size, then a 6.5 ft wide, 3-pt disk would be just right for that hp. You have plenty of hp for either a large-pan or small-pan disk at that width, so that is no real concern. The larger pans/heavier weight will get the job done a little faster. If your plots/gardens average more than an acre in size, I would recommend an old, 8 ft wide, drag-style disk. These can be picked up real cheap on craigslist, and will get the job done faster, and using less fuel than any 3-pt type. In fact, unless you have rocky soil, I would recommend a 6 ft rototiller, for small plots, with that tractor, over a 3-pt disk. In my opinion, the disk is the worst application ever for a 3-point hitch.
