Disassembly of bucket tilt cylinder John Deere 310D

I have a John Deere Model 310D and I am trying to rebuild the bucket tilt or dump cylinder. I have rotated the nut on the end 10 revolutions and have also tried to push the center around the rod back in to look for a snap ring but have not been sucessful so far, anyone have any ideas?

Let's see if you can read this picture from jdparts.com.

Part #15 is a nut, #18 is a back-up ring, #14 is a ring-so it looks like you need to get #15 off, and remove the two rings under it?

I finally gave in as I am in need of the use of the hoe; I bought the manual. I found that if the nut and the rod guide assembly rotates together you must then put the cylinder in a vice and squeeze the cylinder behind the nut to put just enough pressure on the rod guide to keep it from turning so the nut can rotate off of it.

With the nut off you can access the snap ring by pushing the rod guide back then remove the snap ring and then pull the whole assembly out of the cylinder to replace the seals.

Thank you for the help, assistance is always appreciated. I had consulted some mechanics and a former factory trained JD mechanic but none had seen this particular type of cylinder arrangement before. Thanks again.
