Oil & Fuel Dip sticks and drain plugs on a Mahindra 4025

OK guys two simple questions that should be in the owners manual. First do you screw in the engine and trany dip sticks to check oil level? Second, I'm about to do the 50 hour filter and screen clean on my Mahindra 4025 trany. Do I see a second trany drain plug need the engine? Thanks

I screw the dipstick all the way in to measure fluid level on my 5525. That dipstick is really difficult to read accurately. It's a 3/16" dia steel rod painted dark grey with two grooves near the bottom end about 1/4" apart. Lower groove is add oil, upper groove is full. It's a poor design. I lift the dipstick out of the hole vertically, tilt it horizontal and run my finger under it to find the oil level.

I have a 5530 and same issue with "reading" the level. What if we were able to change the color of the metal. Would a dark spray paint work I'm searching for an easier way of "reading" tranny level.

Getting paint to stick to the dipstick while it's coated with tranny fluid may be a problem.
I would really prefer a blade-type dip stick like everyone else in the world except Mahindra uses. I should talk to my Mahindra dealer about this problem (I keep forgetting to do that).
