Digital TV deadline extended

I don't care when they switch...I'm just tired of the nonstop ads and crawlers about it

You and me too!!!! If they hadn't made the switch in the previous 3 years, what makes them think a few more months is going to make any difference? Make the switch already!!!!

After we got satellite, I commented how great the picture was with the old set. So she said "We don't need a new set". I am now stuck with the old set till it fails. That could be arranged.

What I can't understand, I guess because I'm in Texas and have to hunkerdown if the temperature drops below 40, is why anyone would rather spend money on ice fishing instead of a HDTV??????

Actually I was thinking of something more easily reversible. I would like a larger set in my garage and this one would do nicely.

As to the switch. Everybody contact your local stations and encourage them to go ahead and switch to save energy and the environment. Also one local station commented that their digital antenna is lower than their analog. They will fix this when they drop analog. So we need to help the poor people who bought digital and don't get a good picture. I hope this is not to political.
