Hello all...question...What would be the easiest way to dig a small ditch to drain a field with the equipment that I have now. I'm talking no more than 6" deep by maybe 40'.

FEL, box blade jacked on a slight angle???? My angle blade is 5 hours away at the moment or I would use that.

Thank in advance

Either will do the trick. If you want to slope the sides, first dig it down a bit with the fel and then use the box blade with the tire in the newly formed slot. Sometimes it helps to lower a couple of scarifiers. I dig out and install culverts using just the fel regularly.

I forgot to mention that I also have a tooth bar on my FEL bucket if that helps with suggestions.
